LBSL League Reps and Coaches,

Please be sure to tell all of your current officials that they must attend a clinic to become recertified for this season. The exception to this is if they are a currently certified official with either USA Swimming, Y Swimming or PIAA. If they are either USA, Y or PIAA, I must get a copy of their current certification.

Those who are becoming new officials, in addition to attending a clinic, must work 2 meets under the supervision of a certified official and submit their signed Trainee card to me. They then are able to officiate on their own.

One final note: A reminder to those teams hosting a clinic; you must supply a TV and DVD player. If you are doing table, you need to supply the trainer and all table materials.

REMINDER: OFFICIALS HAVE TO BE RE-CERTIFIED ANNUALLY, UNLESS YOU ARE PIAA OR Y CERTIFIED. IF YOU ARE A PIAA OR Y OFFICIAL, YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATION TO THE LBSL EACH YEAR.

Please contact President Jack Cataldi if your club would like to host an Officials’ Clinic. Official’s shirts will be available for sale at the Officials’ Clinics. Cost is $20.
